UPDATE 9/12/2024: As promised, I wanted to provide an update on the Zoom accounts. Unfortunately, after working with Zoom and CDW all day yesterday, I don’t have good news to share. Zoom has changed their processes, and despite completing all of our tasks, they keep adding new requirements. Everything has been completed on our end, but we are now in a waiting period for Zoom to transition our accounts from one dashboard to another. Until this happens, our accounts will remain basic.

I asked for a timeline but was only told that I would receive an email once the transition is complete. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused for both our staff and our districts. Unfortunately, the magic wand I had was out of magic today.

I’ll keep you updated as soon as I have more information.

UPDATE 9/11/2024: We have a meeting with Zoom at noon today to address the licensing issue that was brought to our attention yesterday. We will provide an update after the meeting. 

We are aware that all META Zoom licenses are currently on the Basic license and meetings are being capped at 40 minutes. Please be patient as we are working with Zoom to remedy this.
